About Jamaican Gold Beauty Brand

Clean Beauty, Handmade Heritage

Jamaican Gold began as a quiet rebellion against mass-produced skincare. Inspired by the timeless practices of our ancestors, we’ve returned to the roots—where beauty was sacred, rituals were intentional, and healing came from nature.

Every bottle of our Jamaican Black Castor Oil is handmade in Jamaica by local artisans using heritage techniques passed down through generations. No machines. No shortcuts. Just wisdom, hands, and heart.

This is not just clean beauty—it’s cultural luxury.

👩‍🌾 Meet the Makers

Our makers are more than producers—they’re guardians of Jamaican wellness traditions. Each artisan crafts Jamaican Gold in small batches, often in family workshops surrounded by the rhythm of the island.

From the harvesting of castor beans to the slow roasting and careful extraction, every step carries the soul of the land and the pride of the people who call it home.

We honour their expertise, uplift their livelihoods, and bring their story to the world.

🗣️ Founder’s Voice

“Jamaican Gold started in my grandmother’s kitchen. She believed in the healing power of the island’s plants, and she taught me that beauty wasn’t just about looking good—it was about honoring where you come from.”

The women who produce our oil are held to a high moral code for their community, as this was the only way to know that the oil will be “clean” and able to benefit the users. Women had to remain celibate before boiling the oil, there should be no quarrels or arguments in the yard during processing, and boiling is sometimes done in secret away from negative influences and “unclean” persons. Everything must be kept peaceful and calm.

These rules were instituted by our ancestors to preserve the spiritual healing nature of Castor oil and to assist the oil to flow during processing.

Our oil is boiled by men who strictly honour these traditions of our ancestors and have added our own of prayer and thanks at every stage of preparation and processing of this sacred
